Why are you doing this?

I believe facts matter. I think that most people would like to have accurate information and simply do not know where to look. This site will provide a way to develop critical thinking and understand how scientists test and re-test theory to develop factual evidence.

What about science on social media?

There are a lot of well meaning people out there-but social is designed for speed and short video. It is hard to provide detail. I believe that most people when they realize how much work, ethics and passion go into "Doing Science" they will tend to search out facts rather than hot takes on Social media.

I participate in social media and it has a lot of value in stimulating curious minds.

Is this a company?

No. This website is a 100% non-profit. We need more resources that can share validated, true information. 

This is my little protest against the proliferation of mis-/dis-information.
